Burraneer is a small affluent suburb in southern Sydney, located 26 kilometres south of the Sydney CBD. Burraneer sits on the peninsula of Burraneer Point, on the north shore of Port Hacking. Local features include the RMYC - Royal Motor Yacht Club located on Gunnamatta Bay, public beaches at Lugano Avenue and Bell Place as well as several parks and the local shopping centre on Woolooware Road.
The peninsula is surrounded by water the Port Packing River with Gunnamatta Bay to the east and Burraneer Bay to the west. The area is mainly family homes in beautiful tree lined streets. Many homes enjoy picturesque water-views plus there are numerous waterfronts ranging from beachfront to deep waterfront.
